My name is Nikki—an adventurous photographer, mother, and grandmother, guided by story and season.
I’m drawn to the moments between moments: unguarded laughter, quiet connection, and beauty that unfolds without direction. While I love a composed portrait, it’s the candid, unseen moments that move me most.
Whether in soft indoor light or the wild outdoors, I photograph with intention—capturing stories as they’re felt, not posed.
THE PERSON BEHIND THE CAMERA
My love for photography began the moment I held my mother’s SLR camera—learning to see light, focus, and stillness through her gentle guidance.
In high school, the magic deepened in the quiet of the darkroom, where images slowly revealed themselves and the work of photographers like Ansel Adams shaped how I understood patience, contrast, and story. From then on, I photographed everything and everyone—always observing, always collecting moments.
A few years ago, I took the leap to turn that lifelong passion into my full-time calling. Today, that dream is no longer something I chase—it’s the life I live.
